Can't focus...

I feel like a complete zombie today -- and have for the past few days. I keep wanting to space out; my memory is weak and slow; and I can't focus at all. The only thing is I had some drinks Saturday night, and then passed out in bed. What is up? Will this pass? I'm on 80 mg of Celexa and 200 mg of Lamictal. This is day two. I'm sleeping, rambling, and I feel "dumb." What is going on! :-( :-(

Wow! That's a tremendous amount of Celexa. The highest I ever got with it was 40 mg. I'm not very familiar with Lactimal...but maybe you're over-medicated? I don't know. Have you asked your doctor about this? I know that I often feel dopey and absent-minded when my meds are too high.

Perhaps that's it -- it's been two days, and I've felt my memory just going ... scary! For example, I work with systems often, and today I couldn't remember the port number of a particular application I use every day. It's in there, but I just can't recall it. I hope it's not related to permanent damage.

Can you cut your dose for a few days and see if that helps. You could call your pdoc and ask. Fondly,Phillipa

It's just scary -- I feel like something "snapped" in the past few days, and these cognitive processes are gone. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'll be sure to ask.
