Hi fellow Babblers
I finally managed to persuade my Pdoc to prescribe Pregabalin!
I started my trial on Saturday 5 of Feb.As well as Pregabalin I am taking Effexor 150mgs a day
I also ordered some Phenibut over the internet, although it is classed a supplement if feels like a drug, and is classed as one in Russia.My main problem is social anxiety, although I also have some generalised anxiety thrown in.
In my experience I find Pregabalin to be very different from Benzo’s, it doesn’t produce quite the calm that benzo’s provide, however it doesn’t cause brain fogging, or lethargy.
It is rather stimulating and calming at the same time, which feels quite pleasant, it has a definite anti depressant effect. It definitely does help with social anxiety, although it doesn’t wipe it out like GHB.Personally I prefer it to benzo’s.
The major problem with Pregabalin is that tolerance builds up very quickly; I therefore take it every other day, sometimes with longer gaps between doses.Phenibut feels some what similar to GHB, it also seems calming, but somewhat stimulating, it feels very pro social for me.
Its early days with these drugs especially the Phenibut, so I’ll try and keep you posted as to my progress.

thanks for the info - i read about pregabalin in New York magazine. does phenibut have another name? i read about a russian supplement that had AD effects recently too...

Its been awhile since you posted that. I was thinking of ordering phenibut off the net.Anything new to report?
My anxiety is the type where I can't help but worry about every horrible thing that can happen to me rushing through my mind constantly... mostly just terror of being bullied. I've tried so many other things, so might as well try this one as well. I was hoping for an update first though, and to ask if anyone else here has tried it.
