I dont have insurance, I know clonazepam works for dehibilitating anxiety, and ive found sites that say you can get a prescription from them totally legally cheaper than going to a doctor. they say theyll do a consultation for free or whatever, all I care about is getting the med cause ive taken it for years now. but im suspicious. why doesnt anyone else here talk about or use them? is it just hype? do they actually send the stuff? is it really legal? if they do work anyone know a really good site?
Thanks. It sucks having to do this kinda stuf when youre a college student with no money so thanks for your help. Tom

hey! Well..about those sites...yes, they are legal (kind of). When the doctors they hire start writing too many controlled-substance prescriptions, the DEA sometimes gets involves and people lose licenses, pharmacies get shutdown, etc...but usually these companies and the docs they hire are pretty careful. I had to use a similar site when I moved and couldn't find a new doc fast enough to do refills on some of my old meds...it worked ok, but it is an awfully tough spot to be in. Good luck!

I have completely been in your situation. I have dibilitating anxiety too, and no health insurance. I would suggest finding where in your state there are doctors you can goto where payment is on a sliding scale related to your income, or as a college student with probably no income, ones that charge nothing.
As far as getting the meds once you have gotten a prescription, paying for it can be tricky. Klonopin without any insurance only cost me $20 (I live in RI, doubt it varies if youre in the US), but the zoloft costs 100. zoloft is only available brand named, so thats why it costs so much. In RI, there is a prescription drug plan, presumably basedon income, which might be cheaper than me handin over 120bucks a month.
I think you should look into it, and if you do find a doctor thats free/sliding scale, tell him that you have money concerns, Im sure they will understand and want to help.
As far as getting them off the net, you really need to be told by a doctor how and when and what exactly to take, no matter how much you read sites like this, or even professional stuff. Plus, theyre almost as expensive(and probably more, since they are relatively easy to get off the net) as getting a script filled at a pharmacy with no insurance. And then at least you'd have the benefit of a doctor to ask questions.
I found out about the place I goto(25 bucks for me for a visit) through a google search on "uninsured health care" or something like that. If you happen to be from RI, (dont even know if youre American) I went here http://www.health.state.ri.us/disease/primarycare/healthcenters.php ...That might even link you to other states(?) , but there should be a state site with info like that for you.
Good luck.

yes you can get these off the web. They're very expensive though and a lot are next day delivery. Also you should be educated about medications or talk to doc about it. Some pharmacy websites are more strict than others depending on what controlled substance you're trying to purchase. I personally don't even screw with those sites anymore since I'm a recovering addict. These sites are not good things for people like me. When I lived in Florida last year, I used to constantly order bottles of 69-90 vicodens or hydrocodones.

IMO, if a doctor is going to prescribe you medication, they should at least tell you who they are...
