My doctor vaguely mentioned a MAOI patch that will be available in a few months. I didn't pry for much more info as I need something for my depression NOW. I'll google it, but does someone have more information on this?
I've tried and failed with a large number of anti-depressants (and other bipolar meds) and was considering going the MAOI route.
How much does your life change due to the restrictions you have with taking an MAOI.
Can you still go out to eat? or are you limited to eating only from some list of acceptable foods?I guess you can't take certain OTC medications while on an MAOI too.
What other restrictions are there?
Will an MAOI really help my depssion when so many other drugs have failed?

Theres data sheets with general information........but everyone is different and your first few weeks will determine a lot.
For the first two weeks be cautious, and youll soon get comfortable with the med, once ur used to it,and you should pretty much know what interacts.
For myself i have absolutly no diet restrictions except soy sauce, and that i found out my first week and never touched it again,i eat normal in fact i lift weights and snack a lot.I even consume a beer every now and then which at times seems to have a synergy, but dont get me wrong one to many and boom youll be sorry, also if youre a drinker, meaning every night drinker then i wouldent go the moai route, just keep the antidote on ya,be cautious until you feel comfortable with the med, which u will.

Does he have the inside scoop or did I just miss this news? I really want to try it when it becomes available.
