I am sure SOMEONE has posted an answer to my question but I can't find anything in the archives.
1.
I want off the Adderall. I take 30mg of XR. How long should I take to wean myself off it. I know I can't do this one "cold turkey". If I miss one day I get dizzy. Anyone have experience with getting off this med?2.
I have been on Nardil for almost two weeks at 60 mg and was on Parnate at 80 mg for two years. How do I wean off a MAOI? Do you think I can do it cold turkey?Please, I need advice ASAP. I will remain on my clonazapam and trileptal during this time.

Okay, found the thread on stimulant withdrawal. So I will read through that.
So that leaves the MAOI. Cold turkey anyone?

I feel like I'm pretty much over it now though so it wasn't too bad. Just 3 days of sticking it out. I was also taking tyrosine and Wellbutrin though so that may have helped. Today was my last day of Wellbutrin. I'm stopping all drugs to start Parnate next week. Yippee!!!

That's great! I know I can't go cold turkey. I did a couple of weeks ago because I didn't have the money to buy it. I was so sick (throwing up) and had a seizure and other nasty effects. But I am glad you made it through!!
Let us know how the Parnate goes for you. I wish you all the best. :)

Maxime... Please tell me how things went. I am on the EXACT same meds you are on! Actually I am very ADD and my doc won't let me get on Adderall. How did your doc let you be on an MAOI an ADD drug at the same time???? My concentration and memory are horrible but Nardil and the rest of the meds we are on have been wonderful. The concentration and ADD is effecting my work... Does anyone have a suggestion if I can't get on an ADD drug? I really am in jeopardy of losing a very good job.
