It has been a long time since I visited this board! I needed time to heal. I was once an 450mg Efffexor xr user. I eventually stopped taking it. It was during that time that I found this forum. Well today, I was talking to a friend who has been placed on Effexor for migraines. She wants to stop taking it. I was discussing with her the things to expect with the horrible withdrawl. During this discussion I mentioned to her about this forum. In that instance, I heard myself telling her that the support and information here saved my life. Then I realized...I never thanked or showed my appreciation for this. If, I had not found this board and read the information here; If I didn't see that the things I went through were perfectly normal; I really don't think I would have made it. I thought I was phisycally dyeing and mentally going crazy. If I hadn't seen others on here that suffered the same, I would have checked myself into a mental hospital or possibly even ended my life. The information here, gave me the amunition to keep trudging on until I made it through to the other side. I need ,no better said, I owe, it to this forum and people here for helping me through. THANK YOU!!! I can not express how much I appreciate it.
