Did you get any withdrawal symptoms when you stopped?

None whatsoever, though I was on it for only ten days.

Not fun.
Why would you be interested in reboxetine?

Hi Scott!!
We hear so much about withdrawal from SSRI.... I was wondering whether anyone had experienced any unique withdrawal symptoms from norepi reuptake inhibitors.

I really didn't notice anything that I would say was a withdrawal effect with reboxetine. Again, I was on it for such a short time, that I doubt my experience with it can be generalized.
If you go with reboxetine, start low and slow - maybe 2mg. It might help to mitigate the appearance of anxiety as a side effect.

Hi Scott!
How are you doing with the Parnate + nortriptyline? Is it helping at all?

Thanks for asking.:-)
I am currently taking:
Parnate 60mg
nortriptyline 75mg
Lamictal 300mg
Abilify 10mgdoxycycline 200mg - Don't ask.
I am experiencing a small increase in energy. This is probably nothing more than an amphetamine-like effect from the Parnate. There is no true antidepressant effect. I will say this, though. In retrospect, I can see how imipramine 300mg was blunting my cognition. I am happy to be rid of it - for now.I am contemplating trying mifepristone therapy. It involves taking this cortisol receptor antagonist for 7-10 days. If by the end of therapy there is an antidepressant response, it is supposed to persist beyond the point the drug is discontinued. I guess the idea is that this treatment results in a resetting of the HPA axis. Weird, I know. I'm hoping that this therapy is sort of like ECT in that there might be a need only for an occasional maintenance course.

I have to reach.
