Does Prozac cause sexual side effects?? I am on 40mg and noticed that I'm not all that interested in sex lately. However its not as bad as Seroxat - that kills your sex drive completely!

Yes, Prozac causes a loss of interest in sex, but it is the least offensive of all the SSRIs I have tried. You could, with your doctor's help, try lowering your dosage. There is a certain minimum dosage above which you will not get any added benefits, but you will get added side effects. I have done well on as little as five milligrams, but eventually I needed more than that. I also try to supplement it with vitamins and SAMe and that seems to help augment the Prozac so I need less and therefore feel less like I have been neutured. It is such a cruel trade off!
