There's not a drug out there that they'll prescribe for me that htey thnik will ehlp. Lastest is, "take this - - we just don't think it will work."
No xanax, sicne that woud jus make it bearable for me.
Then, to add icing, cops came and handcoffued me in our marriage counseling session yesterday and I got to spend the whole stinking day in terh psych er.
If I was n't suicidal before hand, how in the hell do you thin I feel now?

florinef ? why are they giving you that? that is for hypotension. that is sort of like what prednisone is to cortisone. its a synthetic version of glutocorticoids for blood pressure/volume control.
Yeah it is for hypotensin.

I would recommend that you start Zyprexa immediately.

That sucks. But you do know that even if you/they think there are no more possabilities there still are infinite combos. Plus there are docs out there that will give you as much xanax as you want.

> If I was n't suicidal before hand, how in the hell do you thin I feel now?I'm sorry you can't afford to see a real psychiatrist. This guy is obviously inept if not an out-and-out sadist, first by saying there's nothing that can help, secondly by not prescribing an anxiolytic. What an idiot. It's like he set you up for suicidality. It sounds like malpractice.
Please don't give up! Psychopharmacology is rather hit-or-miss, but until you have taken every possible drug in every possible combination, there's no way to tell what will work or not. The additive experiences of people on this board are probably greater than Dr. EyeCandy's. Cymbalta just came out, and there are also non-drug treatments such as rTMS and ECT.
I found that small doses of Zyprexa helped my anxiety more than benzos. It sedated me the first couple of days, and even though I've gained weight, I had started gaining before I took it.

They won't give me florinef -- "psychiatrists don't use it" -- depsite the fact that it might allow me to tolerate TCAs of MAOis. My BR runs round 90'/57, so any drop means I drop.
In other words, gee, sorry ,chum -- damn a god damn thing we can do for you -- except give you more of the things that done' work for you.

I agree with Scott. Zyprexa pulled me out of a full meltdown in 48 hours. I was amazed.
