I have been reading through everybodies posts about their personal experiences with tapering or stopping their SSRI's and the withdrawals that accompany that. My personal experience is with Zoloft and has been horrible! Vertigo, "brain shivers", anxiety, outbursts and generally emotionally unstable. Hoping that someone might want to post their own experiences and coping strategies that they have adopted.
I have yet to find a way to cope with the psychological effects of discontinuation. However, the brain shivers and general physical symptoms seem to have been alleviated by taking Antivert (General motion-sickness med). Which can be obtained OTC or by prescription. Hope this helps everyone else in the same boat! Now... any ideas on the emotional crap???
Thanks!
Matt
