Hi

My mind is racing too...and my heart stupid me had coffee.
I'm sorry can't really give any advice

Your disability will just be renewed..they send a form to ask if situations changed-?-I think.
You won't have to work if you're ill , don't worry about working ...they shouldn't reduce the amount--it's probably cheaper for them to pay the full wack than to treat people properly to get well.

Hi....yes, I think you *absolutely* should go back on an antidepressant, and if you do have OCD, one that targets that. Vallium alone will *not* work in your case. Vallium + antidepressant should work great. Have you tried ALL of the SSRI's and tricyclics? Many of them are different from one another, you know.

Please get back...let us know how you are making out.

Best,
Jay

I recommend you try taking Lexapro, start with 5mg daily for 1 week and then increase to 10mg/day. While you are starting Lexapro i recommend you supplement it with Valium. Take a maximum of 30mg/day for 14 days and then taper down with 5mg daily of the Valium until you are completly off of it(about 6 days). SSRI's usually increase anxiety the first 1 - 2 weeks that's why i recommend you supplement it with Valium. Good luck.

Oh sorry forgot to tell you about a trick i use for breathing. I call it breathing in a square. It works like this. You breath in and then hold your breath for 6 seconds then you breath out and hold your breath for another 6 seconds. Then breath in again and hold for 6 seconds.. and on you go until you feel you aren't hyperventilating anymore. A couple of minutes should do. If you practise this several times a day it should start coming naturally soon. Also read up on progressive relaxation(just do a search on www.google.com for progressive relaxation). It also really helps but also needs some practise, works better for every day of practising. Good luck

It really bugs me that we have this thing inside of us that is unceasingly reminding us of our mortality. Couldn't the body just have been made another way ??

Well Christiaan Barnard did not invent the original heart. However, Christiaan Barnard conducted the first heart transplant in 1967.
Just a little trivia here.

PS: The word News was derived from the words
N-orth
E-ast
W-est
S-outh

Okay sorry no more trivia. It's 5:00 am, I have insomina darn it it!
