I'm using Xanax daily now, and it has been a miracle along with my Nardil.
I average 2-3mg per day. This is the dose I've been on for 6-8 weeks
But i could see myself using 4-5mg, which will absolutely and tottally eliminate ALL anxiety.
I have read average dose is 5-6mg, with maximum dose at 10mg/day.
What dose do you take and how long for....
does the memory problems go away (I've notice very slight memory problems)

hey ace, good to see you!...i take 1 mg xanax qid for a total of 4 mg/day, and have been doing so for quite some time...there are some memory problems, as with all the drugs related to this one....in my case, i suspect that my anterograde amnesia has either topped-off and/or that people i interact with accept my absentmindedness. i know you're down under - thus maybe a higher dose is the norm - but in the benzophobic u.s., 4 mg/day is looked upon as pushing the envelope. however, it's been a lifesaver for me, and i have not had to elevate dose and as long as one does not throw alcohol into the mix, it works like a charm....be well, and all the best, chemist

I have been taking xanax for about 3 years. I take 2mg a day. If i took more i would be soooo tired. I have panic disorder and it helps, but I thought nardil was an MAOI? Is it?
