OK...It's day 17. Although I'm still experiancing occasional racing thoughts and paranoia, things are much better. In other words, I'm not obsessed 24/7.
The side effects are pretty much ok. The only thing that's kicking my butt is the lack of energy. I've been taking my supplementals religiously and I've even added folic acid to the mix. It possibly helps you to get the most out of the Lex.
Any ideas on how to improve my energy level? Physical and mental?

Sparky,
Give the lexapro at least 6 weeks. The fatigue does go away-anyway it did for me. I have been on lex since Jan. & if it wouldn't of been for the posts on here I would of thrown the towel in but I stuck it out. So give it some time.

HELLO SPARKY - CONGRATULATIONS FOR HANGING IN THERE!! YES, THERE WILL BE SOME SIDE-EFFECTS, YOURS DONT SOUND THAT BAD - - HOWEVER, LOW ENERGY CAN BE A REAL BUMMER. IF YOU SIT AT A DESK ALL DAY, ITS REALLY TOUGH!! I SUFFER FROM LOW ENERGY TOO BUT IVE FOUND THAT REGULAR STRETCHING, WALKS OUTDOORS, DRINKING LOTS OF WATER, NICE WEATHER, ETC., HELPS. I'M POSITIVE EXERCISE WOULD HELP TOO, EVEN THOUGH I DONT! GOOD LUCK!!
