Weight- yikes!

Hi
I suspected that I had put on weight since lamactil so I stood on the scale(which I avoid) and was shocked to find that I have gained 15 pounds in the past year!!!
I know it's supposed to be weight neutral but has anyone else gained weight on it. I have been taking it for a year now

I have been on lamictol for about a year now and havent noticed any weight gain. But I do believe it is possible with Lamictol. Are you taking any other meds? - that might have something to dod with it.

I am taking effexor 35.5mg and wellbutrin. but I have been taking them for ages and the doses are so low.
i read a paper that said that the mean weight gain on lamactel is 0.5kg (plus or minus 5kg). I assume that to mean that most people will gain 0.5kg, if that,
but some unluckly ones may gain upto 5kgs.
I think thats what it moght mean...not sure

Lamictal is good for about 10 lbs on me.

Hi D.

I was on Risperdal, and put on at least 20 pounds. The weight really bothered me. I just wanted you to know that there are others with the same problem. Good luck.
