I have just started wellbutrin and am at 200mgs right now, and have been for a few days. I am also on symbyax and klonopin. I have been on wellbutrin before with zyprexa (one of the components of symbyax) without problems, but am experiencing some nervousness/restlessness this time around. It could be because of the added prozac, but I dont think it is. Prozac also inhibits the metabolism of wellbutrin, but Im having trouble finding out exactly to what extent. The last time I was on it I was at 300mg though, so I doubt its raised higher than that if Im taking 200mg. It is working pretty well otherwise, so I was wondering if people who have experienced this have found that the nervousness fades.

I have been on 300mg of wellbutrin xr and after 4 weeks at this dosage, the anxiety is starting to fade a lot. I was having to take a xanax at about 3pm daily because of the anxiety; and now I don't have to. I take it in conjunction with effexor xl.

I learned to take the wellbutrin at 3 different times of day, this way it was less intense. The nervousness faded for me but I've been taking 7.5 mg zyprexa with it. When I took less zyprexa than that, I found I needed to take less wellbutrin, because of anxiety and over stimulation. I tried less wellbutrin and more zyprexa. The more zyprexa the better the wellbutrin was tolerated. I got the zyprexa down to 3.75 mg and the wellbutrin to 100 mg and it just was not enough. But that was with zyprexa.
Try, 100 mg wellbutrin SR. Or space out the dose. I take 3-100mg wellbutrins at breakfast, lunch, supper.

I cannot tolerate Wellbutrin. It makes me shake and makes me feel sick. My daughter who is a non violent person becomes quite the opposite when she is taking it. I once saw her beat up a man twice her size while she was on Wellbutrin. This drug is not for everyone, well none are for that matter but I have heard of many people who can't tolerate Wellbutrin

Just wanted to say thank you to all who responded, Im sticking it out and the anxiety has lessened a lot already. I probably couldnt tolerate it without the zyprexa and klonopin I take though.
