I just saw an attorney ad on TV about Zyprexa. I didn't catch it all but it seems they are looking for people who have taken it or who are currently taking it? Might be worth looking into. I've never taken it but those of you who have you may be interested in this info

They say that zyprexa causes diabetes. But does it cause diabetes in people who don't gain weight, and are not over weight.

Yes, Ive seen a few reports of diabeties in people who did not gain weight or were overweight, although I think its very rare. I think the incidence of diabetes with zyprexa period shouldnt be blown out of proportion though. I know this thread isnt about taking zyprexa, but just wanted to add that and say you always have to weight in the possible benefits that could offset the risk of diabetes.

This is about taking zyprexa. Are there more reports of thin zyprexa users getting diabities than none zyprexa users who are also thin?
I'm wondering because I've taken zyprexa for 6 years. Gained weight, was told that I'm at risk of getting diabites. Then I lost all the weight, and the doctor told me that diabites was not a risk anymore.
This is the end of the thread.
