NARDIL- a miracle of life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by ace on March 4, 2004, at 22:38:01

Sorry just feel like writing this, Nardil is making me feel soooo great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the Zyprexa is getting better and better for the OCD....but Nardil is my lifeline!!!!

Xanax works especially well with Nardil- I believe the Gaba activity of Nardil is a strong determinant in its euphoric effect....thats why Xanax or other benzos should be considered if Nardil poops out....

Nardil rules!

Ace Nardil!

Did Nardil just work for the depression and not the anxiety? Is that why you want to get on Xanax? Just curious.

it works for both!!! sometimes it has been amazing for anxiety, but I still have a bit too much that needs to be crushed....Nardil rules!

Did you try other ADs and if so how did it rate in depression relief? I have been on ADs for over 12 years and most of the ADs I have taken either pooped out or ineffective. Currently, I am on 100mg Prozac, 90mg Remeron, 400mg Lamictal and 1200mg Lithium. After 3 months trial with Lithium, most recent addition to my cocktail, I am ready to stop all of them and try one I have not tried, such as Nardil or maybe Lexapro. I am currently in desperate need of ADs/meds that will be effective in treating my treatment resistant unipolar depression. Comments on Nardil, ADs? Thanks

I tried all sorts of ADs and also neuroleptics...none touched Nardil's efficacy.

I have been on ADs for over 12 years and most of the ADs I have taken either pooped out or ineffective.

Im sorry to hear this, but don't lose hope.

Currently, I am on 100mg Prozac, 90mg Remeron, 400mg Lamictal and 1200mg Lithium.

This cocktail is unjustified unless it is producing BIG benifits.

After 3 months trial with Lithium,

Far far too long. 2 weeks is the most with Lithium augmentation of AD, in my opinion.

most recent addition to my cocktail, I am ready to stop all of them and try one I have not tried, such as Nardil or maybe Lexapro.

Now your talking!!! TRY NARDIL!

I would absolutley reccomend Nardil- 4 weeks at 60mg, then raise to 90mg.

It is a very special medicine which effects 3 neurotransmitters and also has effects on GABA...

If Nardil doesn't produce remmision after 10 weeks try...

1. Nardil 90 + Xanax
2. Nardil 90 + Lithium
3. Nardil 90 + Zyprexa
4. Nardil 90 + Risperidone
5. Nardil 90 + Pindolol

Plenty of things, but get on Nardil first!!!!!!!!

It is the bomb!

I just begun reboxetine, but I plan Nardil a near futere. One question:
->How do you compare Nardil with Parnate?

parnate is a really good drug, i like it....
a lot less side effects

but i hear with nardil it has such strong anti-anxiety properties you don't even need benzos?? that is something i would like to experience

I will start Nardil in 4 days following a 15 day washout from Prozac. Do you think 15 days is enough washout time from Prozac which I have been on for the majority of 13 years treatment for unipolar depression? I wish I could take Nardil now as my depression is at its worst after 10 days of not taking any A/D's. I hope you are still feelin' good!

How much Prozac were you taking?

Prozac can be a real pain in the neck when it comes to drug washout. The half-life of the active drug and its metabolites can be a week or more. By comparison, most of the other antidepressants have half-lives of a day or less. I would feel uncomfortable recommending a washout period of two weeks or less. More like 5 weeks.

Sorry.

Thanks Scott, as I value your opinion I will wait the 5 weeks before taking Nardil. 2 weeks down only 3 more to go. I just hope that Nardil will be the magic bullet. BTW I was taking 100mg of Prozac, along with 400 mg Lamictal, 900mg Lithium and 90mg Remeron. At this very moment, I feel confident that I will be able to wait 3 more weeks. Wish me luck, my friend.
