It seems like ever since I raised my dosage of strattera to 38 mg per day I have been craving carbs all the time. Its really strange and I dont like it. Could it be the strattera which is doing this? I am also on 450 wellbutrin/day and 25mcg of cytomel. I take tons of supp.s, fish oil and tyrosine, although recently there was a break in my regimen due to travels.
Anyone else experience this and how can I stop stuffing my face with carbs??

Strange -- Strattera suppressed my appetite almost completely, and I sometimes had to force myself to eat. But of course, everyone reacts differently, etc -- I just wonder if it's really the Strattera.

Strattera made me ravenous at first. Then it suppressed my appetite after a week of eating everything in sight. Now I get episodes where I'm extremely hungry, followed by periods where I have little appetite. Of course I don't know how much of that is actually Strattera. I do know that Strat is harder on my GI tract than Buspar or nortriptyline, and that is a MAJOR disadvantage from my point of view.

Why is it bad on te GI tract? Is there norepinephrine in the gut like seratonin?

When I was on Strattera, I barely ate. I was never hungry. That's really odd.
