Okay, almost 7 years, severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder, no meds have worked, except Clonazepan aka Klonopin, but no ad's have worked.
Now on parnate, notice a little relief, more than any other drug, but the s/e are too much, headache, waking up feeling like I was on a huge bender the night before, wanting to sleep all day long...
Thinking about Nardil, sounds like a better option between the two MAOI's, Marplan not in canada, tried Moclobemide, no success.
I could teach Cognitive Behavior Therapy I think by now, and it has helped to a point, but still no relief. Any suggestions, experiences, etc.. would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Hi,
i'm suffering from gad and pd. I have the same problem as you have, i take clonazepam with some relief. I found an interresting doc at http://www.opot.org/guidelines/anxiety.pdf
where different treatments/meds are discussed. Do you or anyone here have experiences regarding gabapentin in use for anxiolytic? I would really like to here them./tensor
