trileptal and high blood pressure?

My GP is concerned that the trileptal I take may be pushing my blood pressure up.. and experience with this?

Hi Rainee, I took Trileptal, but not for very long, but I can say that yes! My BP went very high, but I was also starting Lithium too. But I got scared as heck because I am a normal 120/80 and it shot up to 154/124~that was the end of Trileptal.
