Does anyone know if there are any stimulants that can be taken with Parnate? I'm already on Parnate, but I'd like to possibly try to treat some of my attention-deficit symptoms.

Yeah buddy, as far as I know all stimulants are fine with Parnate- be it Ritalin or its cousins.
How are you finding old Parnate?Ace.

As for my situation with Parnate. I've been on it for 6.5 weeks. I was on 40mg for about a month, then upped it to 60 mg 2 weeks ago. I don't feel like anything is happening, but maybe it's just too early. I'm seeing my doctor on Monday, so we'll see what he says.

Yeah I think so. Countless people combine MAOIs and stimulants. They get a bit silly with the restrictions!

Parnate might just take some time for you.
Good luck champ,
Ace.

i dont' think you can combine stimulants with MAOIs... at the least, i would imagine it to be risky (remember people get HC just from parnate alone!) HC=hypertensive crisis ...
i had to switch from parnate (i love you! beats hypersomnia + bigtime boost to libido + weight loss etc) to celexa + ritalin when i realized i had ADD (ug)
if i thought i could take parnate with stimulant man i would be so there .... i think the only stim elizabeth? said was okay was pamelor or something but that is no longer available due to liver problems
This is the end of the thread.
