My doctor put me on Strattera for ADD. The medication REALLY works - but unfortunately it also causes IMPOTENCE. I mean like 100% impotence. My doctor has adsvised me to keep taking the medication anyway - he says that this side effect may go away in time. Has anyone else experienced this? I mean has anyone else taken strattera and experienced impotence and then had it go away after taking medication for a month or two?
Please let me know - I am trying to decide whether to stay on the medication....

According to the PDR, sexual dysfunction of all types is a relatively common side effect of Straterra.
I have not had any experience with Straterra, but many years ago I took the tri-cyclic Imipramine. It caused complete sexual dysfunction for several months before this side effect went away. So, I guess it's possible that the same vanishing act could occur with Straterra.
Have you tried Dexedrine or Ritalin ???
