Has anyone tried large doses of Inositol for anxiety? I read an Isreali study saying it was very effective in 10-12 gram doses.
I tried it and did think it worked very well. Much more effective than Kava or Valerien root.
Haven't needed it lately and at that dose, it can be a little hard on the digestive system.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried it?

It completely removed my anxiety but I think It made me a little paranoid and manic.

Hi!
I have tried both inositol alone and inositol as lecithin and I vastly prefer the latter, both because it is easier on the digestive tract and because it tackled the anxiety seemingly without the revved up feeling I had from inositol alone. I do not take very much lecithin because I also take meds for my anxiety and I do not want to overdo. 1200 -2400mgs/day.
As for the levels of inositol recommended in the Israeli study, it does seem a bit pricey to take as much as they studied!
