For bi-polar dis and panic w/agorapobia.
(mood med) 150 lamictal bid
benzos) 2 xanax qid (one extra in crisis ( or when feeling better 20 valium tid 10 extra if needed) Valium and xanax I use off and on depending on panic ^panic ='s xanax; panic crisis "resolved" back to valium.
Klonopin makes me sad and ativan only works in a crisis...like panic attack and getting one from mom, or taking one that I have from the past/Ad ='s lexapro 15 mg
(bed meds) 50-100 seriquil, 10-20 ambian, 50-100 visteral
any of the above three may be mixed but not all three at once. Serequil is really used mostly for 3 = days of no sleep.Now: .25-.50 risperdal PRN---doc said he has "heard of success with this" but I am the first he's really trying it on a PRN dose schedule. BTW, I got the idea here and brought it up to him --he respects my "research" and this site.
ANYone with Luck using Risperdal PRN for panic or general overstimulation????

Hey Tony,
I'm not sure what PRN means, so I don't know if this will help you,
but I did start taking Risperdal about 2 weeks ago, 1mg
each night. It is supposed to help calm my "agitation", but I
don't feel like it has helped much/at all. Now I am going
to be taking Ativan to help chill out and sleep, so I hope that
works.

Okay, well in that case I take risperdal QD and I am supposed
to take ativan PRN, but I imagine I'll take it QD or even
BID. I don't feel like anything (risperdal, trazodone,
or ativan, along with paxil and desipramine) is helping
me chill out or help me sleep. GOD!! What the hell????
I wouldn't say that I am anxious or panicky, but I am very
agitated as you may be able to tell from my posts!
