Any take this drug????? I know someone personally that has been on it going on THREE years...all legal scripts from doctors. a pain managment doctor started all this crap! started on 10mg 2x daily was up to 80mg 6x daily...slowly cutting back to 80mg 4x daily and hoping to get off it. wont be a FUN road for this person because this person does have servere pain

I was withdrawn from morphine with no problems so I suspect Oxycotin would not be a problem either.
Just go slow and if you are having problems you are going too fast.

How often, and how long were you using morphine? This person on Oxycontin sound like he's beening using for months, maybe years at very high doses. Not to mention that not all drugs grouped in primarily used to treat a condition like severe pain are exactly alike.
