Yupp
I'm on 1.5 mg and it does wonders for my social-anxiety and has pronounced anti-depressant effect. No side-effects.

Been on it a while, been good for/to me. Works good when anxiety and panic attacks are the root cause of mental distress, which is sometimes difficult to find out. Hope you find it a good medication for you.

This drug is very versatile: it was apparently intended to control epileptic seizures, but it's commonly prescribed for panic and anxiety. I've been taking it since last July to help me sleep. Was on 4 mg/day for a while, which is considered a bit high; I'm now slowly phasing it out.
Side effect was (at higher doses) drowsiness when I'd wake up in the morning. If you decide to stay on it for a while, never quit cold turkey--as would be the case with any benzo. You must taper off slowly. It's a fine drug and many people are taking it.
Good luck.
