For me:
Lithium -- Can really focus as mind chatter is cleared away. Makes for great patience. BUT, makes me think slower.
Lamictal -- Undoes most of the Lithium slowness, and further helps drive away excess thought.

Lamictal. Can't say as it fixes my ADD, but by helping my depression it probably helps me keep my mind on stuff a little better. I take it with a spot of zoloft, 200-800mg Neurontin (helps with sleep and takes the edge off when I get very cranky), and various stimulants on and off. Lamictal is the star though. It has helped me more than anthing I've tried.

I take Lamictal. I can't say it has helped me with attention, but I don't get the sleepiness/lack of motivation I get with others like Lithium. I'm not sure there IS a mood stabilizer that helps with attention. If you find one I would like to know also. Good luck to you.

a lot of people on the board were posting that their lamictal stopped working after a while
and that they needed to keep increasing their dose to maintain the same effect
have you guys been able to maintain the same dose successfully for an extended period of time?
thanks for replying everyone :)

I'm on a cocktail of Remeron, Gabitril, Lexapro and Straterra. Works great for the diagnosis of ADD comorbid with BiPolar

I got an initial boost @ 25mg, it faded. I worked up to 200mg and have been there for about a year. It ain't perfect, but I'm confident it's still doing its job.

I have taken the same dose since I began taking it 100 mgs. I am not sure how much I would need if I also dropped the anti-depressant I take. I have never taken it alone.
