Why do you ask? Do you have a benzophobic doctor?

I'm not sure that they are "pro-benzo" but merely factual information about the treatment of panic disorder with bzds. Here are but a few, they're long, but here goes:
http://earthops.org/panic-disorder1.html
http://whqlibdoc.who.int/hq/1996/WHO_PSA_96.11.pdf
(By far the most comprehensive - the result of reviewing almost 40+ years of scientific research about the safety and efficacy of bzd therapy, long or short term in proper usage - hence the title "The RATIONAL Use of Bzds").http://panicdisorder.about.com/library/weekly/aa031997.htm
http://bearpaw8.tripod.com/pd.html
It might be worth noting that in the "Psychopharacological tips" part of this bboard there are many testaments from well known clinicians stating the safety and efficacy of the use of bzds in long or short term management of panic or anxiety disorder.
