I think that this place is exactly what I've been looking for! I've been treated for depression off and on for the last 12 years. I am currently on a medical leave of absence from graduate school, so I've had plenty of time to search online for a site like this. I've been on Nardil for about 2 months and while I'm not sure that I feel like "me" quite yet, it has worked wonders.
While my family and friends have been relatively supportive, it's so hard to find people who truly understand. It looks like you folks do. I hope I can add something to your community.Be well.
Merci

Hi Merci--
I found Babble about 3 years ago on a Google search, and it's been an enormous help. I know of at least one current poster who's on Nardil, SLS (Scott); he's a great source of information (and a nice guy). You might be interested in his comprehensive chart on psych meds (really a database displayed in table form); it's a resource I keep bookmarked.

If you have non-med problems or questions, or just want to share experiences or support, check out all the other PB boards, too.
See you on the boards---medlib

medlib,
Thanks for the welcome! I had a chance to look at some of the other boards earlier today and they look like they're enormously helpful as well.
I'm definitely interested in checking out Scott's website, but the page was not found when I tried to open it.
See you on the boards; hopefully not at 2 am, like it is right now!
Merci

Medlib made a small error with the spelling - medecine instead of medicine. Here it is now:
