Lexapro and Cigarettes

Posted by Scit on November 21, 2002, at 19:52:15

Alright, I've been taking Lexapro for about a week now and I have noticed that whenever I smoke a cigarette I start shaking, though only slightly, and I get all tingly in my hands and feet. Is this because of the Lexapro? Or is Lexapro affected by cigarettes? I never asked the Doctor, so I'm asking now.

I noticed that Celexa made me extra
receptive to Dopamine raisers -
coffee, tea etc,

Do you find you crave cigarettes more,
less or about the same.?

Never had the shaking thing.

>>>No wonder I've been swimming in coffee! My coffee consumption on Celexa and Lexapro has gone through the roof. I've usually had about 2 cups in the morning for years. I drink it all the time now-all the time. Thanks.
