There have been posts discussing this topic by other women and mothers, but now I really am interested in knowing more-
Gals, what has been your experiences and knowledge-things you've heard, etc... about the 'safest' anxiety meds to use during pregnancy.
Right now I take xanax and prozac and desperately need both.
I have heard so much conflicting stuff about clonopin being safest, now I have heard the opposite. Have heard terrible things about xanax use during this time, but then some other information which states ther is no hard evidence of birth defects.
I don't know what to think!
Any input, please! All advice welcome!
Thanks, Hildi

Hi Hildi,
If you go to www.motherisk.org and search for prozac and benzodiazepene you will find info on both.
