I've been taking 5 of zyprexa for about 8 months now. I notices that my legs and arms twitch frequently. My facial features on the other hand don't. My P-Doc tells me I have nothing to worry about. When I take Klonopin the twitching seems to go away for awhile. Does anyone have any thougts to whether this is TD or just another side effect from zyprexa. Thanks in advance.

If I recall correctly, TD's onset is often presaged by tongue twitches. Had any uncontrollable tongue tics?

Whats your dx? A mood disorder or a psychotic disorder? If its a mood disorder your psychiatrist is full of shit.

Klonopin is an anticonvulsant and it has muscle relaxant properties in addition to its anti-panic properties. That means it can help things like "muscle twitches." Probably any anticonvulsant would do what you describe.
Be careful...movement disorders are nothing to mess with.
