Has anyone used this for depression or whatnot, and found it effective? At what dose did you find it most effective?
I suffer from depression, and anxiety and OCD, though at this point, my depression is my most pressing concern.
Drugs I have tried that have worked well, but killed my sex drive/ability to orgasm: SSRIs, Effexor/venlafaxine
Drugs that I have tried that didn't help my symptoms at all: Remeron/mirtazapine, tianeptine
I was taking reboxetine for a month and that seemed to work quite well. However, I found that caffeine (which I adore and cannot live without, it is my favorite chemical!) gave me headaches while on reboxetine, and also it interfered with my recreational/educational drug use. I might go back on it but I'm curious if there are better options. Also, the rebexetine did not help my anxiety or OCD at all.
I refuse to take a drug that prevents me from orgasming, makes me fat, or sedates me.
Any suggestions for what to try next?

I with ya all the way. . .until someone is asking advice on tweaking their psych meds so as to allow the rec drugs. Not as a personal judgement, of you--I just think to myself, How can I possibly offer intelligent support on any med when rec drugs are part of the mix? I can't. Maybe someone else feels expert enough on them that they feel otherwise. To me, it's like somebody asking, What's the best AD for me where I can keep drinking too?
Like alcohol is not going to affect the meds?Hope this makes sense.
Best,
Zo

Dear Fairy,
I just had to respond to the following...
> I refuse to take a drug that prevents me from orgasming, makes me fat, or sedates me.
>Many of us on this board suffer from major depression SOOOOO debilitating that if a med will give us relief, we happily give up orgasms, gain weight, and take a lot of naps.
;-)
Love and luck,
Carly
