i was on the effexor-paxil combination. you are going to feel weird when ever you start a new drug combination, or add a new one to what you are already taking. when i started taking paxil, i felt tingly all over.

effexor gave me a sort of warping sound in my ears. does it sound like a slow "wwoommmpp..." when you move your head around?

well, i would say that the combination is totally safe. starting new drugs/combinations always throw me threw a loop and i am always amazed and suprised by the way they make me feel. if you can't stand the way it feels, don't be afraid to try some other combination. i bounced around so many SSRIs before i settled on a combination that worked for me: 20 mg paxil and 300mg wellbutrin. good luck. don't fret. these meds can make you feel pretty weird at the beginning. good luck. let me know if you have any questions.

thanks for your input chiaritara, it's day 4 now on my combo and the pressure feeling in my ears has subsided somewhat but the ringing is still there, mostly when i'm trying to sleep.also, when i get home from work i feel like i've been awake for 3 days and nap for an hour or so.doc said the fatigue is just part of depression and i'll have to deal with it. thanks
