has anyone had any luck with gabaril. Im on 4mg day and night, should i up it

I take it now at about 56 mg/day, the maximum dose on the FDA medico-legal PDR. But it has a short-enough half-life to most likely require QID dosing (4 times a day). It is a very effective antidepressant IMHO, and I would suggest to your doctor that you raise your dose. {I have also found that Gabitril improves my cognition impressively}.

thank you. Im currenty titrating at my dose. Today i go up to 4mg in am and 4mg night. Should i mabybe go up to 8mg day and 8mg night. Its only been 2 weeks?

Gabitril is a drug that needs to be titrated for full efficacy, so perhaps you can raise it now to still 4 mg in the day, and 8 mg at night. Then after a week, raise it to 8 mg during both the day and night. If you don't get a clinical response to the raised dosage then consider another mood-stabilizer like Lamictal.
