hmm...i dun know if this goes under meds or social. feel free to move it, dr. bob, if it's on the wrong board.
as Fall is quickly approaching, i'm starting to think about SAD, which i had a bad case of last winter. last winter, i think i made a huge mistake in stopping my lunchtime walks (because i was wimpy and didn't want to go out in the cold). if i take a 45 minute walk 4 or 5 days a week at lunchtime during the winter (in the midatlantic area), would i get enough light to ward off SAD? i guess my question, is what is an effective dose of light for someone with fairly severe SAD? (i'd like to avoid shelling out all my dough for a light box, but i'll do what i have to do.) i take wellbutrin but i don't think it helps prevent SAD. i can't tolerate SSRIs, unfortunately.
This is the end of the thread.
