I've been taking it for about 10 years now and it's great for my anxiety rogdog. I only take it when I need it and haven't had any side effects except the occasional need for more than I should take but I get around that by stopping it for a few days and then starting again.
YMMV though so all you can do is try.
Best of luck to you
Tina

I've taken klonopin for about 3 years- I consider it a miracle drug. It totally stopped my panic attacks in a very short time. I take 6mg/day- a dose that controls panic, and when I begin to get manic I tend to go to 8-10mgs. I realize this is a fairly high dose, although people with seizure disorders take more- and my pdoc feels panic/bipolar is intertwined with seizure disorders. The only side effect I had was sedation, which wore off fairly quickly. I hope it works well for you- Judy
