ZYPREXA twitch or tremor?

Posted by Kim on August 22, 2000, at 0:27:17

I've been taking Zyprexa in addition to my Parnate for a couple of months now. The past week and-a-half, I've developed a twitch in my eyelid. I've been under major stress during that time period, so I attributed it to that. Then when I refilled my RX it said that tremor can be a side effect. I guess I'm not sure if a twitch is the same as a tremor? Has anyone else had this problem with zyprexa?
Thanks,
Kim

James here....

I've heard of antipsychotics causing twitches like this but
don't know if this would be properly called a tremor. Either way
you should let your doc know about any new movements you notice while
on this class of meds.

Thanks, James

Thanks, James! You always seem to end up answering my questions. I appreciate it. I have a problem with not wanting to "bother" anyone, especially my therapist or pdoc.
