Seroquel - I'd like information from people who use this, especially at a high dosage. What effects does it have? Negative positive? is it dangerous? In what ways? my friend has been on almost everything and "nothing works" re fixed ideas and voices. He's very brave and manages most of the time to stay out of hospital. His p-doc has told him that Seroquel, in the dosages he needs, could be dangerous.
Thanks.Martha

> MarthaHi Martha,
I can't tell you about high doses of Seroquel because I can only take very low doses. Otherwise it knocks me out like an alcoholic black out. Then when I wake up, I feel hung over. So I only take 25 mg at night, and 6.25 mg a few times through out the day. I take it for OC type thoughts and intrusive thoughts. It definitely helps. My doc said it also sometimes prescibed for its antidepressant effect. I haven't heard about Seroquel being dangerous, but I haven't done much research either. I'm sure in really high doses it would be toxic, but so are most other meds. I hope your friend continues to do well, and you too!
