Serzone and smoking.

Posted by NikkiT on June 2, 2000, at 13:59:23

I seem to remember reading some where that serzone has been used to help smokers give up smoking. I know I suddenly don't fancy as many ciggerettes, and seem to be smoking out of the habit. I also feel a bit strange after smoking - kinda feeling my blood pumping hard throigh my body.

Anyway, just wondered whether nayone else knew about this. I'm kinda seeing this as a good opportunity to give up - so expect more posts on it! Bit of a scary thought, and i know it'll be hard as my husband also smokes!

Oh well, here goes nothing!!!

Are you possibly thinking of wellbutrin, aka zyban?

Nikki: Not that I want to discourage you from giving up the weed but maybe you should concentrate on one thing at a time. You are fairly new to the serzone and if it helps that's great but give yourself a break. You don't have to do everything all at once. I do know what you mean about the "feeling strange" after having a ciggie though, celexa did that to me. I got really dizzy and lightheaded after smoking when I was on it. I'm sure it's one of those dreaded side effects of all AD's. If you are ready to quit I'll be here for support and encouragement, whatever you need, but if you aren't ready, don't push yourself. That's all I wanted to say. Love ya babe!! Keep hangin' in--Tina
