Hey all; When is it time to get a new doc. He tells me that celexa is the absolute right drug for me, he's 100% positive but I feel like crap. I'm getting worse every day but he maintains that I just haven't given the celexa enough time yet. I'm hanging on by a thread here and he just keeps saying give it time. Should I believe him or move on?

Tina,
Something happen at Grandma's to trigger this? You were in such a good frame of mind when you left. I'm worried about you, e-mail me if you want to talk offline. I'm at home today getting ready for the vacation trip. BTW, why are you Tina1 now? Or am I talking to the wrong Tina? If so, sorry about that...Hugs,
Greg

if you are still in the beginning stages of taking celexa, then it makes sense to give it a full run before switching. but what makes your doctor so sure that this medication is right for you? the way you describe it, it seems that your doctor has tunnel vision--i guess the real question is do you feel comfortable around your doctor and do you feel like he or she really listens to you and takes into account what you say and how you are feeling?
good luck!
