Who wants to be a millionaire

Posted by Abby on March 28, 2000, at 20:20:33

I had "Who wants to be a Millioare" on, and the contestant had to use a life-line to answer a question that I'm sure any Babbler could get easily:

What is the space between nerve cells called?

A. Axon B. Electron
C. Synapse D. Ganglion

Abby

Greetings to Mr. & Mrs. America, and all the ships at sea:

Actually, I always called it the SYNAPTIC CLEFT.
A "Synapse," according to some, is a verb meaning to come together in a synapsis.

But this doesn't change the future marketing plans for a new breakfast cereal:
SYNAPSE, KRAKLE & POP, guaranteed to brighten even rainy Monday mornings in Connecticut.

(I remain) kazoo

How about a comedy about depression and other mental disorders, called "Synaptic Junction"?
(remember Petticoat Junction? OK, I guess I'm really old!)

Cindy, is that your final answer? Perhaps you'd like to post a friend, or poll the Babblers...
Who wants to be a millionaire? Heck, I'd be happy to win the trip to New York. I'm A)addicted to B)obsessed with C)like to D)all of the above call in each day to try to get on the show. Wish me luck!
