Thank you noa, but is it too late? After reading dr. bob's post re:goodbye cruel world posts, I think perhaps I'd better just cut my losses here.

Or, you can agree to try not to hurt yourself!

Let's see what everyone else has to say. I think I've done enough damage.
I will say that I will try my best to get to the hospital *before* I seriously hurt myself again.
Regardless of whether I saddle this bbs with my presence in the future.

V,
Dr. Bob likened the suicide note post to the hostile, name calling post. When someone does the latter, they are warned. They are welcome to stay if they refrain from the behavior. Could it not be the same idea with suicidal actions and suicide notes? IE, it is not YOU, perse that the bb can't abide. It is the suicidal acting out and the suicide notes left on the bb.
BTW, have you been up all night?

yes I agree Vesper.
Some kind of babbleland contract - saying what you will do if you should feel like this again.
I'm in a terrible rush. I hope to come to babbleland later in the day. take care, Janice

Yes, noa I have been up all night. And all day now. Why do you ask?
Thanks Janice.

It was just that I noticed the times you posted and it looked like you were up all night. I myself had some sleep problems last night, but slept several stints of a couple hours each. I'm tired.

To Vesper - I've been following this conversation for about a week or so now. It seems to me nobody wants you to go anywhere, except maybe to the hospital to be safe. Your life sounds pretty chaotic right now, so it's probably best NOT to give up writing to these people who care about you so much. The contract thing doesn't sound too bad. It seems it would solve some of the dilemma here. Those folks who are pretty vulnerable right now - who care about you so much - would also feel safe, along with you. Seems like a win/win idea. Plus, if you've got a contract with those that care so much, it will mostly likely help you to take some added steps towards self-responsibility. Please be well.
To Noa & Janice - I've also been following your conversations with the others. You both have so much empathy and love for your friends here. I'm a little concerned about this lack of sleep. Is it your meds or maybe some kind of anxiousness? Please don't get too run down or tired. The BLACK HOLE (what I call depression) can sneak in real quick when we get really tired.
I hope I'm not being a nibnose. Sometimes those that take such good care of others need someone to look out for them too.
Take care, and let me know how you guys are over the next few days.

The thing about a contract is, what if it's not kept?

I want to second this. Remember to take care of yourselves, too. Don't burn out!
