Anyone see the story on depression/suicide attempt in an adolescent noone would suspect of being depressed? I thought it was pretty good, though it might worry the heck out of a lot of parents.

I didn't see it, but if it worries a lot of parent's, I say "good!". There have been times in my life where I was the most suicidal, with the least sign of obvious depression. CarolAnn

Yeah, I guess I agree with you on that. People are so reluctant to consider the idea that their child has this or other kinds of problems, so I guess it is good to increase awareness. I guess there will also be some who overreact and hover so close because of their fears, that it has a negative effect on the kids. But I imagine that is the minority.
