I just read the following info in a "Health" magazine.
"A 4 month, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in 30 patients with bipolar disorder, found that the 'fish oil' group had a significantly longer period of remission than the placebo group."
I've also read a lot about fish oil helping depression. Almost any store with a "natural" health section(or all healthfood stores), will carry various brands of fish oil capsules. I don't know if some brands are better then others, but the amount you take(throughout each day) needs to have at least 9.3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids(the amount will be noted on the label). I take five capsules per day(three a.m. and
two p.m.).Just started though and don't know how long 'til it takes effect. Anyone interested in updates just ask. Best wishes!CarolAnn
