Anybody else having trouble connecting?

I was wondering if its just my computer/new server connection, or if anybody else was having trouble connecting here since the site has gone to uhs.bsd.uchicago.edu? It seems to take longer to connect as well as not being able to get through at all some times. Or is it just me?

Before the last archive, there was a thread on this issue with no real help, since it probably is a server-side issue. If your connection stalls out, just hit the stop button then reload. Sometimes it takes me 3-4 of these reloads, sometimes it works fine....

I'd be interested, too. I was out of town for that last thread.

BTW, uhs.bsd.uchicago.edu and www.dr-bob.org are the same machine, though different web server processes.

Hmm, I guess that if one's giving you problems, you could try the other... But the "cookies" wouldn't transfer...

Y'know, the past few days I haven't had any problems at all ... not one that I can think of ....

Great. The server's cycling. How do you administer lithium to a computer? There such a thing as an Li-3 cache on these things?

Maybe it just missed you while you were gone, Dr. Bob....
