Is anyone aware of any links between erotomanic-type delusions and borderline personality disorder? Do they arise from a similar sense of emptiness, lonelieness, meaninglessness? If anyone has ever been treated for both, what sorts of meds were used and what type of psychotherapy? Might as well throw bipolar into the stew too. Thanks for any ideas, thoughts, experiences.

Guess I would need to know more of what you mean by erotomania. Borderlines often "fill the void" with sexual involvents (and that seems to be moreso with females.) However, you might want to look into Schizoid Personality Disorder (I say this without knowing details of your criteria!)
