Yeah. That was the one I had in mind.

Though I have to admit I have never heard the first story. So, thanks for that :-)

You are up.

Well I'll be! OK, here we go. Name the actress who served as the straight woman in seven Marx Brothers' movies (memorably as the wealthy, widowed love-interest of Groucho)?

Should I give a clue? Or change the question?

You are correct. Since you knew who I was talking about, I won't consider Googling cheating. I just love watching Groucho doing his shtick with Margaret Dumont!

You're on for #8...

As you suspected, the obvious answer is not the correct answer!

The photo-electric effect. A direct implication of his quantum theory of electromagnetic radiation.

You didn't. Sorry you feel the "last post of death" syndrome.

Probably I did, but I haven't had the last questioner confirm my reply as correct.

A change of pace.

Multiple choice.

Which breed of dog is most closely related (genetically) to the wolf?

A) Russian wolfhound
B) German shepherd
C) chihuahua
D) shar-pei
E) poodle
F) Ibizan hound

While all dogs are relatively closely related to the wolf, my guess is the Ibizan (f), an ancient breed. If true, has this genetic proximity been confirmed through DNA, Lar?

The Ibizan that presently exists was shown to be a re-invented breed, no more than 200 years old.

Yes, this was a major study of genetic drift in dogs.

So, f is wrong. We're down to five breeds.

Actually, the German shepherd was unrelated to all other shepherd-type dogs, and had closest affinity with boxers and mastiffs.

Down to four.
