JayMac,

My p-doc who is my t, will ask me if I have had any dreams lately. Often my dreams will be flashbacks, etc. Anyway, his interpretions are often quite the opposite of what I meant so very thought provoking. It leads me to think in different terms, and then sometimes I go back and argue.

Sometimes I will not tell him about the dreams as I am not ready and he will wait. He understands that it is just hard for me to open up. Some dreams I just can't share yet. Maybe never. He does get this.

I am sorry about your nightmares, I have them too. I do sometimes tell him about those. And I have found him to most helpful to help me sort them out.

rsk

We have had most interesting discussions regarding dreams and their place in the psyche.
