In reply to does anybody ever really know who they are????, posted by muffled on August 21, 2007, at 14:43:49
LOL it depends which part of me you ask...
each one thinks differently about 'me' as a whole.i know theoretically 'who' i am, but it doesn't fit with an earthly description. and the typical 'who are you' questions are answered by individual parts of me. the little girl thinks one (and i'm beginning to think there are two little girls), the teen another and the old lady another.
so i like to think that it's not that i don't know who i am, but that i have alternate answers :)
Muffled...sometimes i think to that asking such a question locks us into a role and doesn't allow us to grow, change and explore like we are supposed to. so if you say you don't know who you are...what's wrong with that?
it's ok by me, cuz you muffled, you special and i know you are genuine. that's all that matters to me.(((hugs)))
